Welcome to The Beacon Lodge Trust Beacon Lodge is a Residential Family Centre registered with Ofsted. It is located in East Finchley, London. Established in its present location in 1929, it is owned by the Beacon Lodge Charitable Trust and is managed by Integrated Care. Both organisations enjoy a close working partnership for the benefit of mothers and babies placed with them.
The Trust's original aim was rescue and preventative work and, although the services offered have developed over the years, the initial concept of care and support within a safe environment remains.

Beacon Lodge Today The House

Beacon Lodge has been well cared for over the years and, along with its beautiful gardens, it is a source of pride not only to the Trust itself but to the Staff and Residents alike.
The house is kept in good decorative order, and the Trust has added a new Buggy Park, Conservatory, and Car Park in recent years.
Among the many thriving plants and trees in Beacon Lodge’s spacious gardens, one tree in particular has attracted much attention. Beacon Lodge’s lovely Tulip Tree was in fact the second tree of its kind in this country and was grown from the seed of the Tulip Tree at Kew Gardens. There is also a most impressive Monkey Puzzle Tree (a Cedar of Lebanon) that fascinates children and which provides welcome shade in the summer. The Trust is currently developing The Orchard as a quiet place for Mothers to get away from the bustle of life. New fruit trees have been planted and a Colonnade, kindly provided from donations, has been erected to provide an elegant entrance to The Orchard.
The Trust The Beacon Lodge Trust is run by a Committee, the members of which are all interested, enthusiastic volunteers. We are always looking for new Trust members and so if you think that you might be interested, please contact Louise Stutter for more information on:
0208 883 4468 The Beacon Lodge Trust celebrated its Centenary in 2007 and is actively planning to ensure that the service which it provides is as relevant today as it was over a hundred years ago when the Trust first began. Working in conjunction with our management partners Integrated Care, we are constantly reviewing our services in the light of demand from a wide range of user Local Authorities.
The Trust is planning on introducing a new Friends of Beacon Lodge group later this year and we hope to be able to post details of this on our website soon.
In February we launched our new newsletter The Beacon and if you would like to receive a copy do ring Beacon Lodge and give them your address or e-mail.
